المستخلص The purpose of the study is to define the population with disabilities in daqahliyah as well as their characteristics in terms of qualitative composition, age status, educational status, marital status, economic composition and distribution in order to make a geographical evaluation of them. The study lasts five chapters prior to the presentation. The study is followed by Fatima The first Chapter: The study of the concept of disability and its various categories and types, and the study of the general causes of disability, including communication and the causes of disability in the daqahliyah governorate, depending on the type of cause of each disability The second Chapter :examines the size of the population of disabled and gifted persons in the dukahliyah governorate during the period from 1976 to 2017. The study also examines their size and the importance of their size, according to the type of disability. The study also examines the life of the disabled population in terms of monthly income level, housing type, housing type, attendance at doctors and rehabilitation centres, and the extent to which the disability affects the disabled person. The Third Chapter of the study deals with the distribution of the disabled population according to type of disability and gender, followed by a study of the geographical distribution of the disabled population at the same time, its rates of disability per 100 000 inhabitants, its density and the concentration and prevalence of the disabled population in 2006. The Fourth Chapter: studying the demographic characteristics of the population with disabilities: qualitative composition, age composition and median age calculation; social characteristics, educational status and marital status; economic composition, characteristics, occupations and non-occupations. The fifth Chapter : studying the calculation of future estimates of the population with disabilities by type and category of age and type of disability By 2036, their needs were assessed in terms of rehabilitative health services, such as health offices, government and private hospitals, educational and social services, such as rehabilitation offices, child nurseries and civil society associations, and the most important results of their studies and proposals. |
