Abstract
This work was carried out at the experimental farm of El-Baramoon Research station El- Mansoura, Horticulture Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, Egypt during the late winter seasons of 2018 and 2019 to study the effect of two planting dates and foliar applications, i.e., barssinolide , mixture of growth regulators (gibberellin + naphthalene acetic acid + chlorophenoxy acetic acid), yeast extract, potassium nitrate and potassium silicate, as well as the treatment of vernalization with the improving growth, yield and components, as well as the chemical content of seeds. The experimental layout was split plot system in a randomized complete blocks design with three replicates The obtained results of the present study were statistically analyzed and could be summarized as follows. The interaction between sowing on 20th January and spraying with barssinolide at the rate of 10mg/l followed by spraying with potassium nitrate at the rate of 2gm/l gave the highest values of morphological, flowering, yield and its compounds and chemical composition in both seasons.
