After the huge development of technology in the world, the interference of
technology in the tourism sector in Egypt will be the most effective way especially
after the 25th of January revolution. Tourism was affected badly by the political
changes. These changes occurred since 2011 however it still has great effect on
tourism. Since then there has been a great effort to recover it in different ways
including the introduction of modern technological systems such as E-tourism.
In this regard, the research proposes to apply the E-Tourism concept by using mobile
application in Egypt, which was already applied in multiple countries before and it
achieved a great result.
This e-Tourism mobile application will be used as an online reference for all tourism
services available here in Egypt. Using this application, research needs to show the
tourists how beautiful Egypt is and that we are now coping with the changes around
the globe which would encourage them to come to Egypt and this would contribute
to stimulating tourists by providing them with valuable tourist information. In this
application we shall have both the tourists and the agencies in Egypt connected in
one place so they can communicate online using the app. where they can schedule
their tour places and time and notify tourists with dates and time, so they won’t get
lost.
