Abstract The southern Gulf of Suez in Egypt is located at the junction of the African and Arabian plates, and has excellent hydrocarbon potential and it is considered as the most prolific oil province rift basin in Africa and the Middle East. North Geisum field is located in the offshore Southern entrance of the Gulf of Suez. This field is considered as a SW tilted fault blocks, where stratigraphic succession of this field is distinguishable into pre-rift and Synrift sequences. North Geisum discovered in 1981, the oil is produced from Kareem sand. |
