Abstract Introduction Unprotected left main coronary artery disease was defined as a left main coronary artery stenosis ≥50% and no bypass grafts to the left anterior descending or left circumflex coronary artery Aim of study Aiming to evaluate short and intermediate term clinical outcomes of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) in unprotected LMCA disease in respect to MACE according to syntax score. Methods We included 50 cases who were divided into 2 groups; the first group included 31 cases who had Syntax score < 33, and the second group, which included the remaining 19 cases who had Syntax score > 33. Result Our study revealed no significant difference between the two groups regarding dyslipidemia (p = 0.261). It was present in 90.3 and 78.9% of cases in both groups respectively. |
