Abstract
Wheat is one of the most important grain crops in Egypt, due to the fact that the vast majority of the Egyptian population relies on it to provide the necessary flour to produce bread, which is the staple food of the Egyptian citizen. Therefore, Egypt is taking many measures to achieve an adequate level of food security of this important strategic crop.
The problem of the study is that the traditional agriculture of the wheat crop in the new lands and the use of chemical fertilizers did not achieve the optimal production of the wheat crop with the high costs of agriculture from the requirements of fertilization and irrigation, which is reflected in the reduction of productivity of feddan. Wheat yield proved its high ability to increase productivity of feddan and resistance to diseases affecting the wheat crop has been proved by several research studies in the form of master and doctoral dissertations in both universities and research centers, and view Economic conditions have become an urgent need to increase wheat productivity to fill the food gap.
