Aim of the study: To demonstrate that the novellas of Badee Al-Zaman contain different types of deletions, and that Badee Al-Zaman was aware of the rules of Arabic grammar for their multiplicity and diversity. He was able to identify each deletion (patterns, positions, different examples for each form of deletion, and benefit from each deletion). The researcher attempted to estimate the deleted segment to know the rhetorical significance behind the deletion in all the patterns that the researcher extracted from the stations.Methodology of the study: The study adopted the descriptive approach that deals with observing semantic grammatical phenomena in the novellas of Baee Al-Zama and analyzes them as a semantic grammatical analysis.The limitation of the study: The researcher conducted the research on the topic (Concise sentence in Badee El-Zaman El-Hamazanys novellas –Maqamat– a syntacticotemantic study), explained by Sheikh: Muhammad Abdo, Dar Al-Fadila, 2004, which is a comprehensive book For the novellas of Badee Al-Zaman.The most important results: The study showed that Badee Al-Zaman was concerned with the rules of grammar and that there is a close relationship between grammar and rhetoric. The study showed aim and pattern of deletions and that we should extract the indicator of each deletion which can be defined through the meaning or general context of phrases and expressions. The study showed that there are two types of deletions: the first is single deletion (to delete a letter, verb or name) and the second type is to delete a sentence consisting of its two main pillars such as subjective and verb. This study also showed that the number of deletion patterns is one hundred and, forty-two, and its pictures are five hundred and sixty-eight, and its positions are one thousand two hundred and ninety.
