Abstract
Introduction: Health education about CRC and CRC risk factors has valuable effect in decreasing disease incidence and mortality by changing behaviors and following screening recommendations . The aim of work: To assess Knowledge ,attitude and practice of people regarding colorectal cancer and suggestion of Health education program about CRC. Research Plan: A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted with analytical components on 326 people visiting manshia primary care unit and data was collected through a questionnaires using the interview method , health education program was implemented afterwards then the same cross sectional study was conducted 1month later. Results: The study results revealed a great improvement in participants knowledge and also there were improvement in their attitude and practice , the worst results were among elderly , lower educational and socioeconomic status. Conclusion: Health education programs can help in increasing awareness about CRC and change behaviors , therefore prevention and increasing survival of the disease.
