Abstract
Antibiotics are widely used in human, veterinary medicine and birds, specially chickens for prophylaxis or treatment of diseases and as growth promoters to raise growth rate, cefotaxime is effectively used in the controlling of collibacilosis infection in chicken to avoid the hazard and economic effect of this infection in poultry industry. The current work was achieved to evaluate the effect of cefotaxime treatment (10mg/kg b.w) for 3 successive days on experimentally infected chickens with EPECO55: H7and it is effect on clinical signs, post mortem, body performance, hematological , biochemical studies, histopathological studies.
