Abstra The role of organizational capital in activating
innovation Field study on the Iraqi University
This study aimed to define the role of the organizational head in activating innovation in higher education institutions from the viewpoint of teachers in the education sector, as well as to identify some variables of the study such as age groups, educational qualification and years of experience.
The first chapter dealt with the general framework of the research in terms of (the idea of the study, the exploratory study, previous studies, the problem of the study, the importance of the study, the objectives of the study, the study hypotheses, the study variables, the study limits, the study methodology, and the study flow map and finally the study structure).
The second chapter dealt with the subject of organizational capital in terms of (introduction, concept of organizational capital, the importance of organizational capital, the historical development of organizational capital and finally models of measuring organizational capital).
The third chapter dealt with the topic of innovation in terms of (introduction, concept of innovation, the importance of innovation, dimensions of innovation, different models of innovation and the difference and aspects of the relationship between innovation, creativity and patent).
The fourth chapter dealt with the field study and hypothesis tests in terms of (introduction, honesty and reliability of the study tool (the questionnaire), the natural distribution test, descriptive statistics and finally the hypothesis searches).
The fifth chapter dealt with the results and recommendations. (Introduction, study results, general study results, hypothesis test results, study recommendations were finally reviewed. Finally, topics were discussed for future research.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire that was distributed on a comprehensive survey method, due to the small size of the study population and their number (292) individuals.
In the light of the results of the study, the researcher suggested a number of recommendations, the most important of which were: the need to increase the awareness of the teachers of the importance of organizational capital and knowledge acquisition and development in the colleges of the Iraqi University to advance the reality of the work of those colleges and universities of the research sample, that those colleges of the research sample develop an integrated information system that specializes in research On creative and innovative ideas, and follow them and develop them to benefit from them in their field of work. The need to pay attention to the innovation process, provide the necessary regulatory environment, and supportive of innovators, and unleash new and innovative ideas that elevate the competitive colleges location in the work environment.
