Abstract

The main target of this work is studying the effect of different concentrations (5%, 10%, 15% and 20%) of frankincense of Inflammation of male albino rats. Physiological study was done in rats includes the food efficiency ratio, food intake and body weight gain and biochemical characteristics (liver functions, kidney functions, HGB, PLT, RBC, WBC, cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL, LDL, VLDL and internal organs weight) in tested ESR rats were also measured.
1.Experimental animal
This study was conducted on 30 white rats Sprague dawley divided into 6 groups, all of which consists of five rats per group
1.1. Experimental design
A study was feeding on a diet that protects from inflammation induces in normal healthy male albino rats by fed on a basal diet and concentrations (5%, 10%, 15% and 20%) of frankincense. All rats were adapted on normal diet for one week there are thirty adult male albino rats were randomly divided in to five rats in six groups. The first and second groups fed on standard diet the third, fourth, fifth and sixth groups fed standard diet containing 5, 10, 15 and 20% frankincense powder respectively. After 30 days rats second to sixth groups were injected bay 0.1 ml/kg formalin to inducted hind paw edam inflammation, At the end of the experiment after 28 days from injection of formalin.
All groups experimental were fed on the according to the following groups:
1.1.2. Control Group:
group (1): (negative Control): Fed on basal diet.
group (2): (positive Control): Fed on basal diet.
Frankincense Sample Groups:
group (3): Fed on 5% frankincense of the weight of the diet.
group (4): Fed on 10% frankincense of the weight of the diet.
group (5): Fed on 15% frankincense of the weight of the diet.
group (6): Fed on 20% frankincense of the weight of the diet
After 28 day from days injection of formalin rats were anesthetized and the withdrawal of blood from the hepatic portal vein and transferred the hind paw after shock bleeding directly and preserved until all samples analyzed, the study included a study of food to measure the impact of each concentrations separately from frankincense on rats weight at the end of the experiment also included a study of the impact of such a focus on food consumption and special Accounts estimates the rate of losses.
Moreover, estimated the liver, lung, Spleen, heart, and kidney of a rat weights minute to see the effect on the concentrations of frankincense to affect internal organs target weight.
The study included also biochemical study, which is meant to study the serologic enzymological to estimate the enzymes that indicate the response of the liver to do as a result of the impact of dealing with concentrations of frankincense where enzymes estimated hepatic tanker group where increasing current rates at the time of inflammation cells liver- the reason chemically or viral infection, according to the studies referred to in the body of the message, namely aminotransferase alkali phosphate and aspartate aminotransferase
