The thesis contains two main parts:
1- Part 1: some bee products
2- Part 2: medicinal plants
PART 1: SOME BEE PRODUCTS
The aim of this study is to address the chemical profile of the monofloral bee pollen
grains and investigate the potential in its bioactive constituents.
The thesis covers the following in this part:
I: Background and Introduction
It gives a short note on some bee products and its uses as dietary supplements in
prophylaxis and treatment of many health conditions, its traditional uses, proved
biological activities for the some bee products which related to the bioactive compounds
contained in it.
I. 2. Introduction
It refers to the bee pollen grains and its source, how it is collected, its nutritional
value and its chemical composition from the previous reports. It also exhibit the
traditional uses of bee pollen and the proved biological activities for it.
