Abstract The purpose of this thesis aims to synthesis a novel material suitable for magnetoelectric devices by mixing ferrimagnetic phase with ferroelectric phase as nanocomposite material.Firstly the ferrimagnetic material which have the following formula Ni0.1Cu0.2Zn0.7-xMgxFe2O4(NCZMF)where(x= 0.00, 0.15, 0.25, 0.35, 0.45,0.55 and 0.70) have been prepared by the flash auto combustion method. XRD pattern confirms the formation of single phase spinel structure. The HRTEM micrograph shows nanocrystallite with cubic shape and agglomeration crystallite. The SEM micrographs of all samples show non-uniform grain growth. The FTIR and VSM of the samples were reported. DC electrical resistivity and AC conductivity have been studied at different temperature and different frequencies 1KHZ and 10KHZ. The rate of change of permeability has the highest value for the sample x = 0.35. The dielectric constant ε decreases with increasing Mg content,whereas the sample x=0.15 has high dielectric loss compared with other samples. |
