المستخلص Delivery is a physiological process and is of paramount importance in health-care systems worldwide. It is also a critical life event for women. It is a multi-dimensional process involving physical, emotional, physiological, cultural, and mental aspects. Yet, labor pain is a major concern for pregnant women. It is also the primary cause of women’s avoiding normal vaginal delivery (NVD) and tendency toward Cesarean Section (CS) as an alternative. Postpartum period is a period of 6-8 weeks following delivery in which the majority of maternal physiologic changes of pregnancy revert to their non-pregnant state that affect quality of life for women. Therefore, caring of women during post-partum is very important to meet the women need and expectations. Nurse play important role to improve quality of life for postpartum women through preparing the women preoperative, operative and postoperative procedure. Assist with obtaining diagnostic tests as order to ensure the wellbeing of women. All criteria for surgery are tried to meet with senior staff including obstetrician, anesthetists and pediatrician are available and ancillary services are good. The present study was aimed to evaluate the quality of life for women after cesarean section versus vaginal delivery. This aim was achieved through assess quality of life for women after cesarean section versus vaginal delivery. |
