Abstract
The aim of this study to do Complete total mesocolic excision in Colorectal canser either laporascopic or open this study was conducted on 30 patients admitted to menoufia university hospitals and diagnosed operable canser colon it was prospectively conducted during the period from (Aug 2015 to May 2018) informed consents were obtained from all patients which approved by the local ethics committee of menoufia university hospitals all patients were subjected to full history taking, general examination including investigation, EGG and Echocardiography, imaging studies (chest X-ray, US abdomen, ct abdomwn and pelvis), and histopathological findings (colonscopic biopsy, tissue diagnosis) Traditionally, approach to cancer colon is through open exploration but now laparoscopic colectomy is an advanced cancer surgery in today’s era.
Complete total mesocolic excision safe, feasible, effective technique in treatment of cancer colon. But we need more number of cases to confirm our results and this will be done further study.
