It has a worldwide distribution, especially in Mediterranean countries and the Middle East. So the present work was performed to study the effect of brucellosis on some hematological, biochemical and immunological parameters after accurate diagnosis to Brucella Species by serological and molecular methods. This study was carried out on a total number of two hundred and seventeen of adult female cows as large ruminants (3-5 years) 98 from Al-Dakahlia Governorate and 119 from Damietta Governorate, which divided into 3 groups Gp.1: ten apparently healthy cows (seronegative). Gp.2: nine infected cows with Brucella melitensis detected by serological tests at the 2ndweeks post abortion. Gp.3: ten infected cows with Brucella melitensis detected by serological tests at the 4th weeks post abortion. Total number of four hundred and fifteen of adult female ewes as small ruminants (1.5-3 years), 220 from Al-Dakahlia Governorate and 195 from Damietta Governorate were divided into three main groups. Gp.1: ten apparently healthy ewes (seronegative). Gp.2: ten infected ewes with Brucella melitensis detected by serological tests at the 2nd weeks post abortion. Gp.3: ten infected ewes with Brucella melitensis detected by serological tests at the 4thweeks post abortion. |
