Abstract The obtained result revealed that the total aerobic mesophilic bacterial count observed in tilapia nilotica ,mugil cephalus , cat fish and common carp were 25 for previously types . the total aerobic mesophilic bacterial count of tilapia fish samples with the average of 8.675 x 106 ± 1.07 x 106, while mugil cephalus with average 6.404 x 106 ± 8.66 x 105. Aerobic mesophilic count in cat fish with average 8.060 x 106 ± 10.62 x 105 and in common carp with average 6.868 x 106 ± 11.44 x 105. the total enterobacteriacaea count in tilapia nilotica with average 7.087 x 104± 7.9 x 103 While result in mugil cephalus with average 4.192 x 104 ± 3.21 x 103 The total entero bacteriacae count in cat fish with average 10.516 x 104 ± 8.75 x 103 while in common carp with average 1.2252 x 105± 1.524 x 104. the total coliform count in tilapia nilotica with average 4.268 x 104 ± 4.60 x 103 while in mugil cephalus with average 3.125 x 104 ± 3.65 x 103 .
