problem of the study: When attempts at social work to integrate research and practice through the dissemination of external research and evaluation results, there are conflicts between academics and practitioners. There are compelling reasons for the social work profession to bridge the gap between research and practice, The best available information is shown by scientific knowledge. The effectiveness of the practice is based on the control of the practitioner and enables him to absorb a reasonable base in the size and type of general knowledge of the profession and other quality of the special focus on the associated field of practice of the need to follow the new models and modern methods Among these modern models and methods, evidence-based practice in social work emerged at the turn of the millennium as one of the concepts that underlines the importance of developing practitioners who are able to make appropriate decisions regarding professional intervention with clients based on real results based on empirical research results, Bias lead to an efficient and effective practice, taking into account the experiences and skills of practitioners when providing professional work. Therefore, they have found the social workers’ theoreticians and practitioners a method that is compatible with the attitudes and philosophy of the profession of social work and helps to promote the practice of the profession, in a professional and scientific manner at the same time, and responds to their aspirations to meet the contemporary challenges in the changing society and issues and contemporary problems that need to be dealt with quickly Scientific based on the results of research and scientific studies There is no doubt that the practice of professional practice may be difficult for novice practitioners to work with in individual cases in the school field, but the continuous training and practice of professional work can overcome them. The use of more than a therapeutic model in dealing with clients and the humanitarian problems they face contribute to the degree In achieving the objectives of the therapeutic process efficiently and effectively because of the different nature of the customers and the problems they face The problem of the study can therefore be crystallized and identified in ”Identifying the attitudes of social workers towards the use of the evidence-based practice program with individual cases in the school field” Second: The importance of the study: The importance of the present study stems from the nature of the problem. The need to focus on evidence-based practice and use it in our Egyptian society in general and social work in particular. The lack of previous Arab studies that dealt with the practice based on evidence (especially in the field of school) in the social work within the science of the researcher. This study helps to draw the attention of researchers to further studies on evidence-based practice in many areas of professional practice in the social work in general and the case work in particular to identify the real trends of social workers towards the application of evidence-based practice with individual cases in the school field. Measuring the attitudes of social workers towards the application of evidence-based practice. The researcher believes in the importance of using evidence-based practice in the school field. Third: Study Objectives:
The study seeks to achieve: Overall Objective Identify the attitudes of social workers towards applying evidence-based practice to individual cases in the school field. By achieving the following sub-objectives: Identify the cognitive component of social workers to apply evidence-based practice to individual cases in the school field. 2. Identify the skilled component of social workers in applying evidence-based practice to individual cases in the school field. Determining the value component of the social workers towards the application of evidence-based practice with individual cases in the school field To develop a proposed conception of the trends of social workers towards the application of evidence-based practice with individual cases in the school field. Fourth: Concepts of the study:
This study attempts to clarify the following concepts: The concept of trends. The concept of evidence-based practice.
Fifth: Type of study:
This study belongs to the pattern of descriptive studies, which aims to describe the attitudes of social workers towards the application of evidence-based practice with individual cases in the school field.
Sixth: Methodology:
In accordance with the type of study, the current study used the comprehensive social survey method for all social workers working in the schools of the departments (Assiut - Badari - Sahel Selim - Aboteig - Fath) Assiut Governorate Seventh: Study Tools: A Questionnaire form for social workers. Eighth: Fields of Study: (A) Human domain: - All the social workers working in schools belonging to some departments of Asyut Educational Governorate, namely the departments (Assiut - Badari - Sahel Selim - Aboteig - Fath) and number (100 social workers). (B). Spatial domain: The spatial area of the current study is determined in: Schools affiliated to some departments of Assiut Governorate, which are departments (Assiut - Badari - Sahel Selim - Aboteig - Fath) and number (47 schools) (C) Time domain: The period of study is theoretical (from October 2017 to October 2018), and the field segment and the desired results (from November 2018 to ... 2019). Ninth: Results of The Study : The study showed positive results of the trends of social workers towards the application of evidence-based practice with individual cases in the field of school where: - The study showed that the cognitive component towards the application of social workers to evidence-based practice with individual cases in the field of school has achieved a high rate (86%) through the following: Utilizing the expertise of distinguished countries in dealing with student cases. Knowledge of social workers social problems and risks that can be faced by students at these ages. - The desire of social workers to learn evidence-based practice - The study showed that the skilled component towards the application of social workers to evidence-based practice with individual cases in the field of school has achieved a high rate (83%) through the following: - Evaluate work continuously. - Focus on the strengths of pupils with problems. The ability of social workers to analyze and interpret what you have recorded - It was clear from the study that the value component towards the application of social workers for evidence-based practice with individual cases in the field of school has achieved a high rate (92%) through the following: - The desire of social workers to help students solve their problems. - Taking into account the student’s circumstances during professional practice. - The commitment of social workers to the ethics and conduct of the profession in the course of their professional practice.
