Abstract
Allergic rhinitis and migraine are very common diseases and both carry a huge socioeconomic burden worldwide, previous studies found relationship between allergic rhinitis and migraine and that relation refereed to their common pathogenesis and histamine release.
That relationship attract our interest to study effect of treatment of allergic rhinitis on migraine attack regarding migraine frequency and severity of its attack.
In Suez Canal university hospitals, our study conducted calculated sample size from otorhinolaryngology clinic treating allergic rhinitis using oral antihistaminic and local steroids nasal spray.
Suggested by our data, we found that there is strong relation between migraine and allergic rhinitis, this was clear by the potential role of drugs that are not usually utilized for migraine attacks.
