Abstract
This chapter includes the aim of the present work, a literature survey on heterocyclic Schiff bases and their metal complexes. The biological activity of Schiff bases and its metal complexes has been also presented.This chapter contains the materials, reagents and the experimental details used in the present study. It describes the methods of preparation of the organic ligands which obtained by the condensation of amino5mercapto-1, 3, 4-thiadiazole ,amino-,dihydroxy pyrimidine with formyl chromone, and their metal complexes with Co(II),Ni(II),Cu(II),Cd(II)have been prepared. Finally the workingprocedures, apparatus used and method of calculation are described.
