Abstract This thesis proposes a hybrid Soft Sectored Fractional Frequency Reuse (SSFFR), which analyzes the uplink worst case Signal to Interference power Ratio (SIR). In addition, the effect of power control exponent, path loss exponent and inner radius are studied, where SSFFR is compared with Sectored Fractional Frequency Reuse (SFFR). It proposes a new distribution for D2D for both SFFR and SSFFR and computes the worst SIR for every cell with a comparison between both of them under the same condition. The above techniques are programmed within MATLAB environments to justify its performance. The simulation results show that the proposed technique (SSFFR) improves the overall performance of the network from the viewpoints of SIR, interference management and capacity. |
