Abstract Candida species is a part of the commensal flora and at the same time it is defined as a pathogen that causes opportunistic infections. So the aim of the present study was to differentiate between pathogenic and non-pathogenic candida according to extracellular phospholipase and protease activities and formation of antibody for using it as a diagnostic tool for differentiation between pathogenic and non-pathogenic Candida. Candida species was cultured and the enzyme activity was determined in the supernatant. Five pathogenic isolates were checked quantitatively for their ability to produce extracellular different enzymes |
