Abstract

Breast cancer represents the second most common cancer over world and accounts for 25% of all cancer cases and 15% of all cancer deaths among females.
The main types of treatment for breast cancer are surgery, radiation therapy (RT), chemotherapy (CT), endocrine or hormone therapy (ET) and targeted therapy. Synthesis of Hybrid Amphiphilic Co-Polymeric Nanoparticles for Tumor-Targeted Drug Delivery.
The main chemotherapy adverse effects such as hair loss, depressed immunity, fatigue, gastrointestinal disturbances and neutropenia have a negative impact on health related quality of life.On the other hand, nanoparticles (NPs) show interesting characteristics as small sizes, large surface-to-volume ratios, high drug loading, self-assembly capacity, and biocompatibility.
Thus, they confer specific physical and chemical properties at the cellular and molecular levels not attainable with the drug moietiesthemselves.
