This study was basically conducted to investigate extension needs for women in the field of poultry safe care in el Roisat Village, Al Hamman district via studying the following sub-objectives:
1- Identifying the social and economic characteristics of women respondents.
2- Recognizing women’s knowledge needs concerning poultry safe care at the study area.
3- Recognizing women’s implementing needs pertaining poultry safe care at the study area.
4- Studying the correlation between the general knowledge of women respondents in the field of poultry safe care as a dependent variable and some of their social and economic characteristics as independent variables.
5- Studying the correlation between the general implementation need of women respondents in the field of poultry safe care as a dependent variable and some of their social and economic characteristics as independent variables
6- Identifying the problems faced by women respondents in the field of poultry safe care and suggestions for solving such problems from their point of view.
The research data were completed using questionnaire forms via personal interviews for 107 women respondents as a systematic, randomized sample representing 20 % of the total sample at at El Roisat Village, Al Hamman Center. To describe and classify the women respondents according to their different characteristics, the following statistical methods were used: the percentage, Frequency tables, besides Spearman Correlation Coefficient to study the relationships between the research variables.
The research included four chapters, the first dealt with the nature and dimensions of the research problem, the objectives of the research, the importance of the research and the second one handled the theoretical framework and the reference review, the third one handled the research methodology

adopted in this study and the forth one included the research results and discussion.
The following is a summary of the main results of the study
First: characteristics of women respondents:
1- Age: results showed that 22.42% of the women respondents were less than 35 years, while about 47.66% were aged 35- 47 years and 29.90% were over 47 years of the total women respondents.
2- The educational status of women respondents: Data showed that 62.6% of the respondents were illiterate and 4.7% of them were literate while those who received one of the educational certificates were 32.8% of the total women respondents.
3- Number of family members: Results showed that there was a significant increase in the family size as 58.9% of the women respondents’ families had 6 members and up, while the average number of family members was 8 members.
4-Agricultural tenure: Results indicated that 12.50% of women respondents’ families had no agricultural possession, while women respondent’s families with agricultural land were less than 5 acres was 43. 57%, and those of over 5 acres and up was 43.93%.
5- Poultry experience: Results indicated that 33.65% of women respondents had less than 16 years in the poultry field, whereas 42.99% had an experience from (16-30) years and 23.36% had over 29 years of poultry experience.
6- Cultural openness: percentage of women respondents with high cultural openness was 1.9%, the average was 84.1% and the low was 14% of the total respondents.
7- Poultry possession: Results showed that 25.2% of women respondents were of low category,
