The importance of the study is to highlight the importance of adopting economic thought and policies and practical programs to study the feasibility of joining any economic agreement and the need to manage economic development with a focus on the human resource in the management of development and civilizational and human progress and how to enhance the opportunities of benefiting from free trade agreements between the Sultanate of Oman and the outside world , Whether advanced or developing. The study was divided into four chapters. In Chapter 1, we discussed FDI and its role in the economic development of the Sultanate of Oman, and then we moved to Chapter Two, where we talked about the importance of foreign direct investment in increasing the trade exchange of the Sultanate of Oman. , where we talked about ways to maximize the benefit of the Free Trade Agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America, and the fourth and last chapter was assigned to a field study, where a field study was done on the ground. At the conclusion of the study, some of the findings and recommendations of the researcher were presented.
