Abstract Wild mammal family includes different type of order like (primate, carnivores and ungulate). The urogenital system disorders represent a problem in wild animals. These animals could affect with urogenital affections that might lead eventually to death of the animal. This study was planned to record these problems and trial to solve them. The present investigation was dealt with surgical affection that affect the urogenital system of zoo animals during the period from 2014 to 2017. The total number of examined animals along the present study was (771) animals suffered from different affections in zoo animals belong to three orders of captive wild mammals, (primates, carnivores, ungulate), out of these (126) cases were diagnosed to have affections of urinary system. The affected animals were of different ages and sex. The study was designed to record the cases suffered from urogenital affections throughout record incidences of affections, history of affected cases, clinical signs, and laboratory diagnosis including (bacteriological, biochemical, histopathological, radiographic examination and ultrosongraphic examinations) were performed when seen indicated. The objective of this study, in addition to recorded the urogenital affection cases. Document medical and surgical managements of urogenital affections, evaluate the surgical. |
