المستخلص The research aims to identify the effect of the use of virtual reality technology on learning outcomes in the sport of swimming for people with special needs (mentally handicapped who can learn) in Sharkia Governorate. The researcher used the experimental method using experimental design with tribal and remote measurements for two groups, one experimental and the other control. The random search of people with special needs (mentally handicapped and able to learn) enrolled in the Office of the Disabled and short-term in the Directorate of Youth and Sports in the Sharkia, and the strength of the research sample was (12) mentally handicapped. The experimental results indicated the superiority of the experimental group that used the proposed educational program (the virtual reality) on the control group that used the traditional method (verbal explanation and performance of the practical model) at the skill and cognitive level, indicating the effectiveness of the use of virtual reality technology and its positive effect on Learn the skills of (swimming crawling on the abdomen - swimming crawling on the back) in the sport of swimming ”in search”. The researcher recommends the use of the proposed educational program to teach sports activities in general and swimming sports in particular because of its effectiveness in the results, and because it has a positive impact on the direct interaction between the learner and the educational material, as well as the need for those who teach swimming skills must be a learner role Especially in the current age of informatics and increasing knowledge, with the need to conduct training courses to train swimming teachers on how to benefit from modern technology and how to apply them in the life of the process. |
