Out of these twenty EPEC isolates, ten isolates were admitted for PCR examination. According to the current study, E. coli was isolated at percentage of 50%, 43.33%, 30%, 20% and 13.33% in breast, liver, gizzard, thigh and heart respectively. Twenty strains of E. coli were serologically identified as EPEC with a percentage 41.66 %. The percentage of EPEC O78 , EPEC O2:H6 , EPEC O1 :H7 , EPEC O153: H11 and EPEC O153: H2 were 18.75%, 4.16%, 10.41%, 4.16% and 4.16% respectively. EPEC O78 were isolated from breast, thigh, heart and gizzard with an percentage 6.66%, 33.33%, 23.07% and 20% respectively. EPEC O2: H6 were isolated from breast and Thigh at percentage of 6.66% and 16.66% respectively. EPEC O1:H7 were isolated from breast with percentage 13.33% and heart with percentage 25%. EPEC O153:H11 was isolated from 20 % of the examined gizzerd samples. Meanwhile, EPEC O153:H2 was isolated from thigh and breast samples with percentage of 16.66% and 6.66 % respectively. |
