Abstract

Fauvism (Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenate deficiency) is the most common enzyme defect in all societies. G6PD deficiency is a genetic disorder that most often affects males. It happens when the body doesn’t have enough of an enzyme called glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD). G6PD helps red blood cell work properly. It also protects them from early breakdown of RBCs called hemolysis. Triggers of hemolysis in children with G6PD deficiency include: illness, such as bacterial and viral infections, some painkillers and fever-lowering drugs, some antibiotics (most often those with ”sulfa” in their names), some antimalarial drugs (most often those with ”quine” in their names), fava beans (also called broad beans) and naphthalene (a chemical found in mothballs and moth crystals (Rezaei, 2014).School age child period development is arrange from (6 to 12) years of age, also called middle childhood, characterized by a child culture depends on rules, reciprocity and fairness. Erikson described the stage as industry Vs inferiority. During this period observable differences in height, weight and build of children may be prominent the rate of growth more rapid in girls than boys. Child in this age move in coordinated strong manner, use complex sentences, become more aware of body, secondary sex characteristics may develop, interested in peer related physical activities, able to perceive reality, able to influence others, and able to focusing attention for long periods of time (Nippold, 2016).
