المستخلص The main objective of the study is to enhance the agricultural trade between Egypt and the Nile Basin countries by exploiting the available economic resources. increasing the level of self-sufficiency and highlighting the development of the water resources of Egypt and the Nile basin countries. The results of the study showed that the volume of trade between Egypt and the Nile Basin countries does not exceed 2.5% of the value of trade with the world to reach one billion dollars. The results also indicated that the most important factors affecting the volume of exports between Egypt and the Nile basin countries are the GDP. economic openness and price elasticity. The estimated Cobb-Douglas parameters of these factors was 0.445. 1.002 and 0.587. respectively. The most important factors affecting the trade balance between Egypt and the Nile Basin countries are the volume of trade. GDP. structural reform and support of Egyptian exports. where the elasticity of each was estimated at 1.01. 0.037. 0.208. 0.298 respectively. The study concluded that the development of bilateral trade volume between Egypt and the Nile Basin countries requires: to provide integrated data on the needs of the markets of the Nile Basin countries; Competitive price in order to increase the market share in Nile Basin countries markets; Increasing the support of Egyptian |
