The present study aims to study the effectiveness of security department in the five stars hotels in Taba by :Clarifying the conditions must be met in the institution security element.Knowing the quality of specialized training programs of security.Declaring the availability of modern means and techniques of safeguarding against any terrorist plan.Identifying the level of security individuals’ qualification.Results The results of the field study appears the effectiveness of Security Department in the five- star hotels in Taba and the availability of safety means and systems to carry out the tasks of hotel insurance for maintaining the properties of the hotel and the guests from theft. Also, protecting the employees in a percentage above 75%.Such results will benefit the hotel organization by raising the conviction of the present customers that the hotel keeps their safety, increasing the possibility of the frequent deal with hotels, and raising the capacity of hotels to attract new customer In addition, the condition of previous experience during the designation of security individuals, the security query, and providing training courses to raise their efficiency. Besides, the different emergency plan in hotels according to the nature of threatens. Recommendations Increasing the motive of security individuals by providing them with more material and spiritual incentive and all helpful means and systems to perfume their functional tasks effectively.Studying the training needs of the security individual to design training programs aiming to raise the level of their performance and skills to confront the different dangers.Polarizing experienced trainers with high competence to train the security elements in the modern techniques.
