Abstract
Undercuts mostly complicate the complete denture fabrication and frequently encountered on the maxillary bilateral buccal aspects of the arches. The management in these situations includes an alteration of the denturebearing area, adaptation of the denture base, careful planning of the path of insertion, and the use of resilient lining materials and ends up with the elimination of the undercut by surgical reduction.If surgery is ruled out, either due to the systemic status or due to old age of the patient, non-invasive and conservative prosthodontic management of the undercuts comes into play. These clinical study describe an alternative method of denture designing to attain the esthetics and functional goals in such cases.
