Abstract Recently, dielectric nanofluids have been proposed as a prospective candidate for usage with power equipment due to their enhanced thermal and dielectric properties. In spite of several studies have been conducted to improve thermal transport properties of dielectric nanofluids, few studies have been concerned with heat transfer coefficient and viscosity as a significant transport property and physical mechanisms behind this improvement which is the main aim of this thesis. |
