Abstract In this thesis we introduce an analytical technique, residual power series method, which is based on the generalized Taylor series.We apply this method to a number of nonlinear models of time-fractional partial differential equations to find an exact solution for each of the models, Fokker-Planck, coupled Burgers equations and approximate solutions for the models Huxley, Cahn–Hilliard, Gardner, Newell–Whitehead and coupled Jaulent–Miodek equations. This thesis is composed by five chapters. |
