Abstract

In this thesis, we proposed a technique using free-alignment construction method to infer the optimal phylogenetic tree based on differential evolution algorithm. To achieve this goal, a differential evolution-based framework is introduced. According to standard deviation and accuracy that achieves higher results is also introduced to infer an optimal phylogenetic tree. The performance obtained using our framework showed a good performance than those introduced in the relevant methods in the literature. The evaluation results confirm that the investigated method succeeds in building the optimal tree with accuracy higher than those introduced in the relevant works.
