Abstract Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease and both the number of people with diabetes and its associated health care costs are projected to increase considerably in both developing and developed countries. Achieving the process of care and clinical targets is important because they have been shown to reduce and/ or delay the onset of microvascular or macrovascular complications. Patient and Health care providers satisfaction has been increasingly used as one indicator of the quality of health care. So, the aim of this work was to:1. Assess the quality of service provided to type 2 diabetes in the Internal Medicine Hospital of TUHs. 2. Assess the extent of provider adherence to evidence-based international guidelines for diabetes care developed by American Diabetes association. 3.Assess patients’ and health care providers’ satisfaction with the provided care. |
