Abstract
The aim of this prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study was to assess the effect of the administration of pre-operative diclofenac potassium (50 mg) on the anesthetic success of buccal infiltration with 4% articaine with epinephrine 1:200,000, pain on injection and need for supplemental local anesthetic carpules in mandibular molars with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis.
