Abstract

Therefore this study was intended to;
• Development of a novel, specific and sensitive TLC method for determination of FEB in biological fluids in presence of its metabolites without sample extraction pretreatment steps.
• Development of a novel, rapid, simple and highly sensitive TLC-spectrodensitometric method for simultaneous determination of colchicine and probenecid in their co-formulated fixed dose tablets
• Designing of a simple, rapid, specific and highly sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for determination of FEB in its tablets and real human plasma with higher sensitivity than the reported method, and its application in studying the stability of FEB under different stress conditions.
• Development of an efficient, selective and sensitive economical spectrofluorimetric method for determination of ALF, DOX and TER in their dosage forms and spiked human plasma, depending on derivatization of their primary amino groups with OPA.
• Development of a rapid, simple and very sensitive method for specific quantification of TER and DOX in their tablets and human plasma depending on formation of a semi-quinoid structure.
• Development of sensitive and selective spectrofluorimetric method for determination of SLD in its dosage form and human plasma, based on nucleophilic substitution reaction of SLD with dansyl chloride. Furthermore, establishment of the inherent stability of SLD under different stress conditions.
Conclusions
Eventually, the validation criteria of the developed methods were emphatically studied. The results of proposed methods were statistically compared with those of reference ones, remarkably the calculated t- and F-values at 95% confidence level are less than the tabulated ones, indicating that there is no significant difference between the results of the developed and reference methods. This indicates the good accuracy, precision and suitability of the proposed methods for determination of the studied drugs in pure forms, pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids (plasma and urine).
