Abstract

In conclusion: Chickens treated with Synbiotics via Drinking-water and Oral-drops have generally greater, sometimes significant, live-body-weights, gain-in-weights feed intake, feed conversion ratio, growth rates and livability compared to controls and Sprays approaches.
Chickens treated with Synbiotics in Drinking-water were also superior, sometimes significant in AST, Triglycerides, Lymphocytes, H/L ratio, crypt depth & Villi/Crypt ratio of duodenum and crypt depth in duodenum.
Chickens treated with Synbiotics via Oral-drops were superior in globulin, heterophils, LDL, spleen weight and percent, duodenum& ileum villi height as well as Ileum Villi/Crypt ratio and crypt depth in ileum.
Chickens treated with Synbiotics as Spray were superior in ALT, WBC’s. Therefore, Synbiotics administration via drinking water (either 0.25 or 0.50 ml.), is much better approach proven through the numerous benefits to various chick traits when compared to other ways of administration. Fortunately, administration of drugs through drinking water is the easiest way to both chicken and poultry-producers to supplement their medications. It is less stressful to birds because of the no-direct manipulation and for producers it does not require expensive fancy equipment.
