Thesis Title: Using some Illusion Arts as an Inspirational Source for Fashion Design.

Research Topic:
The research focuses on the study of illusion arts as one of the approaches to enrich the field of fashion design. This study includes a descriptive presentation of op arts, its concept, types, characteristics, artists and its relationship to fashion design and fractal theory, its concepts, classifications, characteristics, artists, shapes, and its relationship to op art as well as to the field of fashion design. The study also focuses on the preparation of an applied study of the use of illusion arts as an inspirational source for fashion design.
In this context, 14 design groups of fashion design have been prepared for children “girls” (ages 9-12). These groups are inspired from artistic paintings which reflect fractal theory. A survey has been conducted on a sample of 150 female children associated with different arts in culture palaces and public libraries from different governorates to measure their approval of the proposed designs.
The results of this study generally indicated that girls in this age group prefer wearing clothes that have aesthetic appearance and cheerful and multiple colors, which are considered one of the most important features of art paintings that apply the theory of fractal. Moreover, four of the designs that got the highest approval level were implemented.
