Abstract The diagnosis of CRS relies on clinical judgement based on a number of subjective symptoms and few findings in physical examination. These symptoms and signs are vague and becuase of the uncertainity associated with the diagnosis of CRS, it is necessary to have data that are more objective about the extent of the disease . The aim of this study is to correlate between pre-operative and intra-operative findigns in patients with CRS. A total of 30 consecutive patients diagnosed as CRS and met the inclusion criteria The selected patients were subjected to detailed history taking, preoperative questionnaire to evaluate the patient compliant and complete ENT examination. All patients diagnosed as CRS after failure of medical treatment for 12 weeks, documented with CT scan PNS. Finally,The correlation between symptoms, endoscopic findigns and CT scan abnormalities are crucial for a correct clinical diangosis. |
