المستخلص This thesis for procuration master’s degree in medieval Christian philosophy ,moreover,entitled ”Early christian thought and its developments- selected examples.” That the study has been examine the important ideas that have contributed to the formation of early christian thought and doctrines and moreover I choice Gnosticism and a Saint Irenaeus as example of the defenders of christianity in the face of that band, then the most important figures patristic them, for example, ”Ignatius of Antioch and Clement and Origin Alexandrians, ”then the most important figures that influenced in the Council of Nicea. The researcher used comparative analytical method, This study was consists of an introduction and five chapters and a conclusion. • The introduction discussed the definition, clarification of its importance thesis and referred to the methodology which used in the preparation of it and exposes questions which around it. • The first chapter is entitled ” Intellectual trends leading up to the coming of christianity.” • The second chapter is entitled ” Firstfruits christian thought.” • The third chapter is entitled ”The position of early christian thought from Gnosticism.” • The fourth chapter is entitled ” parents ancients `s christian thought.” • The fifth chapter is entitled ”Christian thought in the third century and its reflection on the fourth century.” The conclusion have been enrolled the most important results. 1 – There are elements of the influence and impact between the Greek and Jewish thought in christian thought. 2 – There are acertain basic doctrines to faith in the age of the apostles as well as the idea of the Incarnation and the Trinity and the redemption and salvation, and theological reasoning to the person of christ and the Apostles posts in the writings of the Fathers fill the void in the historical information.
