Abstract The aim of this study is to investigate whether route of delivery influences satisfaction with the birth experience. For this purpose, this clinical trial compared maternal satisfaction among primiparous women after birth with either CS or NVD. Two-hundred nulliparous pregnant women attending the Suez Canal University Teaching Hospital were classified into two groups: (I) delivered by normal vaginal delivery and (II) delivered by CS, each of 100 women. In both groups, we will measure maternal satisfaction after childbirth using both a visual analogue scale and validation questionnaires. |
