Abstract
Information technology governance (ITG( is part of corporate governance that is the responsibility of the organization’s top executive to ensure that organization’s information technology (IT) supports the goals and objectives of the organization, using variety of structural mechanisms, processes and mechainisms for communication / relationship. fundamentally, ITG is to direct IT endeavours, to ensure that IT’s performance meets the following goals : alignment of IT with the business to maximize promised benefits, achieve business objectives, responsible use of IT resources. and appropriate management of IT-related risks.
