Abstract This thesis foregrounds three major points of its academic contribution. Firstly, concerning the triple modular redundant system, it will, hopefully, enable engineers and factories to get the best designing of the electronic systems with more safety and efficiency while reducing the risks of sudden failure and economic losses. Secondly, regarding the multi-server system of repairing defective machines, it applies the statistical method that helps arrive at accurate results and, hence, uncover the critical areas of the time lost in repairing defective machines and the cost spent on adding unnecessary new servers to an operating system. Thirdly, with respect to the daily maximum wind speed, it proposes a new method called quartiles-moments method in an attempt to precisely estimate the prediction equations of the daily maximum wind speed and the daily maximum temperature. In a word, it is a significance study for all researchers of ecology as it presents reliable predictions of the maximum temperature and the maximum wind speed in different areas of the globe. |
