All subjects underwent full history taking, clinical examination and laboratory investigation, including CBC, urinary acetone ,serum lipid profile (cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, HDL) before and after 3months of ketogenic diet therapy
Regular outpatient visits were done at monthly intervals for a period of 9 months, during which, any reduction in seizure frequency or severity was recorded. The patient’s toleration to the diet was recorded, and any complication was treated accordingly.
