Abstract Due increasing high performance of solar cell materials with low cost. A comparative study takes place in this work for different materials gallium arsenide (GaAs) material, and silicon material for different places (Cairo, Alexandria, and Aswan). The photovoltaic (PV) using GaAs material generate more energy than using silicon material. Three approaches are applied PV fixed system, PV with single axis tracking system, and PV with dual axis tracking system to show the difference of them by using silicon material, and GaAs material. |
