Abstract

The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the accuracy of stone die obtained from a polyvinyl siloxane elastomeric impression material using:
 Two different techniques, namely:
 The one-step double mix, and
 The two-step double mix
And comparing:
 Three different abutment positions, namely:
 Single crown preparation on maxillary right second premolar,
 Three-unit FPD replacing missing maxillary right first molar, and
 Five-unit FPD replacing missing maxillary right first molar and first premolar.
