Abstract
The study findings indicate that the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population is already using relatively proper risk communication measures in addressing communicable diseases. However, these measures are facing several challenges either internally at the level of the Government and the Public or externally by the imposed threats by the emerging and re-emerging communicable diseases.
from the public sample represented in the focus groups’ participants of this research study, it was concluded that the Ministry of Health and Population was moderately successful in addressing the public regarding risk communication measures, and further strengthening of the currently adopted risk communication measures and introduction of new communication modalities have to be taken into consideration.
