Abstract

Thiobencarb proved sex specificity with O.niloticus where LC50 was in females 0.4 ppm and male 0.6 ppm , Acute exposure after (3 and 9 days) and chronic exposure after (7,14,21 days) exerted nervous manifestation, eye opacity ,skin ulceration , tail and fin rot and unsymmetrical gonads, Both sex showed highly significant DROP in sex hormones and relative fecundity . DROP in absolute fecundity (females) thus ovary showed fragmentation of oocytes cytoplasm with atretic oocytes. Sperm density and live % dropped where spermatocytes necrosed, deformity with several oogonia present. Carcinogenic Liver with vacuolar degenerative necrosed hepatocytes caused total protein and Liver enzymes Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) drop, but Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) increased. Increased band 440 KDa of Vitellogenin in chronic females and males, Band 669 KDa appeared in chronic male 14 days and control female.
